I am here to provide you a topic or solution about the dry coughs. You won’t be surprised if I say I am a huge victim of dry cough. It always grasps me on each and every changing season. You would also be taken aback that I also suffer with this problem if there is no weather change. It’s very tiring and agonizing to cough all the time. I can’t do my daily work as it makes me totally exhausted.

You can’t concentrate on your work if you are facing a dry cough problem. I was suffering a continuous coughing dilemma but soon after that I consulted with a doctor. He advised me some tests and there was nothing but the lungs full of infection. But it cured after taking a regular medication.

But all coughing do not need medication. Most of the time people tend to go with home remedies. You can cure it by making some home medicine. I am going to discuss with you about some remedies which I have used earlier to get rid of my dry cough. I found these remedies essential that’s why I am providing you these.

1.Honey:

Honey is always my best option. When I had a bad cough my mom or my grandma told me to have honey. First, take half a glass of hot water then add 2 tbsp of honey. I use quite a bit hot water. If you can’t take such heat then you can go for less hot water. But remember hot water cures your cough much faster.

2.Honey & Lemon:

As like the previous method take half a glass of hot water then add 2 tbsp of honey and 1 tsp of lemon juice. If you want you can use 2 tsp of lemon juice. Then consume it twice a day. It’s a very effective medicine which can be made with ease.

3.Mustard:

May be some person doesn’t like mustard oil but this is my favorite solution to get rid of dry cough. Take 2 tbsp of mustard oil and 2 tsp of lemon juice in a small bowl. Then add a pinch of salt. Then microwave the mixture for 30 seconds. It will be hot enough for you. Then gallop 2 tsp or more if you like. You can try this mixture only once a day. This mustard mixture will help to loosen up your dry cough problem. It is important that you must keep your throat moist or else the dry cough problem increases.

4.Use of Basil Leave and Ginger:

Take a bunch of basil and take all the juice out of it. Then add with it some chopped ginger and a few drops of lemon. And take it twice a day. It will make your throat relief from agonizing cough. Basil helps really fast in curing up dry cough dilemma. You can also use some mint powder in case you don’t like the flavor of basil.

5.Hot Ginger Tea:

Make some ginger tea and take it twice a day. I sure you will get rid of your problem pretty soon.

6.Savoury Tea:

If you are a tea lover then you can add some other savory ingredient in your tea. Add about 2 cloves, 1 bay leave, a little cinnamon stick and small tsp of ginger. Then drink the tea when it is hot. You be surely benefited by this solution.

7.Raisins:

If you are surprised to hear raisins then don’t be. Take one cup of raisins and add with it 1 and half cup of sugar. Then add about 1 cup of water. Then let the mixture simmer on the stove until the mixture becomes syrup. Syrup helps to moist your throat. Take 2 tbsp of the syrup twice a day after eating your breakfast or dinner.

8.Soup:

You must drink hot soup when you are having a dry cough. You can drink any kind of soup as per your wish. But make sure that it’s hot.

10.Hot Milk:

Take a glass of hot milk and add with it ½ tsp of turmeric. Instead of using powder you can use fresh turmeric. Then drink the milk. It’s a traditional method of reducing the problem of dry cough.
