Gas pain is a common problem among everyone. For some reasons we suffer a lot with this disease. When gas pain occurs there are also some undesirable sounds.
I know after reading the previous line you might be laughing or giggling a bit. Sometimes gas forms in your intestine for some reasons. The main reason behind gas formation is, breaking carbohydrate containing foods by bacteria. It’s important to let those gases out of your body. If these gases remain in your intestine then it can cause serious gas pain.
Gas pain has some symptoms. After seeing the symptoms you can take a careful decision or remedy about your gas pain. Now the symptoms are:
Abdominal pain is one of the most common symptoms in gas pain. Though there are many reasons behind abdominal pain but gas plays a major role behind this pain.
Sometimes the pain moves from chest to other parts of body. When my pain occurs there aches a lot in the chest. After sometimes the pain moves to the left side of my spinal cord.
Sometimes bloating or flatulence happens. Those are the symptoms which through you can be sure about gas. If you are facing these symptoms then surely you are going to have gas pain.
You may relief from gas pain by using different method but if you don’t know the reason behind gas pain then you have to face this problem again. So you should know the reason behind the gas pain. This will help you to minimize the chance of gas pain in future.
Whenever there occurs bloating, burping or flatulence we told ourselves that there is no reason for sure. But I think there are thousands of causes to form gas in our stomach. By seeing those causes you might feel amazed. I am giving a few causes:
1. Food that contains soluble fiber causes a lot of gas.
2. Drinking through a straw can cause gas.
3. If you are a gum lover than there is much possibility that you might have a lot of gas in your intestine.
4. Sweetener in sugar free candies or desserts can cause gas.
5. Drinking carbonate beverages.
6. Vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, artichoke, cabbage, onions and sprouts.
7. Fruits like apple, pears etc.
8. Whole wheat can be a cause of gas in your stomach.
9. Baked beans.
1. Eating very fast can cause gas.
There are many more causes but aforesaid causes are common.
How to get rid of gas pain:
Treating gas pain is not a big deal. You can easily treat gas pain by many natural and drug based way. First I am going to present the natural way for the treatment of gas pain:
1. GALLOPING HOT WATER:
Galloping hot water is the first choice, if you want to reduce gas pain. It is the simplest and most easy way to treat gas pain. I heard about this method from my colleague who is specialist on gestro-enterology. He said, “Gallop some hot water as this will help to reduce your gas”. I tried this easy and simple method and found it very effective.
2. TIME TO DRINK SOME PEPPERMINT TEA:
My second suggestion is for you to drink some peppermint tea. Peppermint contains menthol like agent which helps to soothe your stomach ache.
1. Glass or Cup
2. Hot water
3. Tea bag containing peppermint.
1. Take a glass or cup of hot water.
2. Then drop a peppermint containing tea bag.
3. As soon as you drop the bag cover the cup or glass with a plate. I am telling you to cover the cup because all the menthol and other beneficiary agents will not be gone through the hot smoke.
4. Now drink this peppermint Tea. Definitely it will work.
3. EAT SOME FENUGREEK:
Take half a teaspoon of fenugreek and put it in your mouth. If you can, crush those by your teeth a bit. Than drink some hot water. I don’t like the smell of fenugreek that’s why telling you to drink some water. This is an ancient method of reducing gas or soothing your gas pain. This method is highly efficient.
4. EAT SOME SPOONFUL OF YOGURT:
Try to eat at least two teaspoon of yogurt a day. The pro-biotic elements of yogurts help to reduce gas or gas pain. From my personal experience I can assure you that it is the most effective food to control your gas pain. It will be better if you take at least 3 tbsp of yogurt in day.
5. CHAMOMILE TEA:
Just like peppermint tea you can have chamomile tea. Some people don’t like peppermint. So, this is a substitute for those people.
You will need:
1. A bag of chamomile tea.
2. A cup.
3. Boiled water.
1. Boil some water and pour it over a chamomile tea bag. Like aforesaid cover it with a plate. By doing this all anti-inflammatory elements in will infuse in the hot water.
6. Ginger can be a good remedy in gas pain:
Ginger is very helpful in any kinds of uncomfortable intestinal situation. It has anti- inflammatory capacity. It also reduces the gas pain. You can chew ginger or take a ginger tea for reducing gas pain.
1. Fresh raw ginger roots.
2.1 cup of boiled water.
3. Lemon or honey which will increase the test.
It’s very easy to make a ginger tea.
1. Slice the ginger roots in to small pieces.
2. Now mix 1 tea spoon of honey.
3. After that add 1 cup of boiled hot water.
6. Lemon juice:
There are some controversies for lemon juices in gas pain.Many said lemon contain citric acid so it worsens the condition. But it is scientifically proved that, lemon juice increase the secretion of hydrochloric acid from the stomach. This acid helps to break the food properly specially carbohydrate foods. You already know that, carbohydrate containing foods are a major cause behind gas formation. So by braking carbohydrate foods, lemon juice helps to reduce the gas pain.
You will need:
1.2-3 tbsp of lemon juice
2.1 glass of warm water.
It will be funny if I am going to tell you how to make lemon juice. Just add 2-3 tbsp of lemon juice in warm water. Now enjoy the drink.
7. EAT A LOT OF PAPAYAS:
Papayas help to make your stomach cool all the time. Try to eat ripe papayas almost every day. it’s also helpful for digestion.
OTHER WAYS (MEDICATED OR NON-MEDICATED)
Whenever you see the symptoms of gas take an antacid tablet or you can gallop 2tsp of liquid antacid. Take antacid after 30 minutes of having you food.
If you are facing acute problem in case of gas pain you can have antibiotics. Antibiotics are the recommendations of doctors. After consulting with your doctor you can have antibiotics.
3. EXERCISE EVERYDAY:
By doing some light exercise you can lead a gas pain free life. This will help your digestive system to work very fast. At least walk half hour in the morning.
4. RELEASE THE AIR:
Don’t laugh. If possible then release your gas. Don’t do it in public place. It will cause embarrassment if you do it in public.
5. AVOID CARBONATE DRINKS:
If possible than try to avoid carbonate beverages. This increases a lot of air in your stomach.
6. EAT SLOWLY:
Whenever you are eating try to eat slowly. After taking food in your mouth shut it then chew properly. This way your food digests very fast. By shutting your mouth at the time of eating will help to inhale less amount of air in your stomach
